This followed his work with Arthur Baker and Jellybean Benitez on the New Order song “Confusion” in 1983. “One More Shot”, would later resurface in a reworked form as “Shellshock”, a non-album track by New Order that John Robie produced, which appears on the Pretty in Pink soundtrack. the song is often refered to as the first Freestyle jam.

“One More Shot”, is notable for record producer John Robie’s use of a “non-linear” approach to its production. I spoke about ‘One More Light‘ quite heavily last year but with last Friday (July 20th) marking one year since Chester Bennington passed away, I’ve been revisiting Linkin Park’s final creation with their late frontman a lot recently. As such, I’ve had time and retrospect to think about this album one that was hastily torn down by many more than when I first covered it. The song includes lead vocals by American R&B singer Jenny Burton. Powerless - Chester ends the album with a slow, sad song. Tinfoil - The only instrumental on the album, leads straight into Powerless, quite emotional. Mike Shinoda has a go at proper gangsta rap and Brad Delson (the guitar player) sings a sad verse. “One More Shot” is a 1982 single by Freestyle/electro studio project C-Bank helmed by various producers including John Robie. Until It Breaks - The most original and one of the best tracks on the album.
